This kit is designed to give you everything you need to quickly and easily create authentic 90s New Orleans beats. From Bounce to Southern G-Funk, this sample pack covers the wide variety of sounds that emerged from early New Orleans Hip-Hop.

We processed these drum sounds through vintage 12-bit samplers – including the legendary SP-12 and Emax 1. Drum loops were processed through analog hardware, recorded to tape, then resampled for an authentic 90s sound. We also included drum fills and MIDI drum patterns that capture the real groove of the early Bounce music.

We created original New Orleans-style melodies using our collection of vintage synths – Planet Phatt, X3, SG01v, SH-101, DX7, EX-8000, and more. Plus, we included instrument one-shots so you can build your own authentic 90s melodies from scratch.

We also included Hits/Stabs, Scratches, FX, and Original Vocal Chants – recorded to a 4-track cassette deck and processed through the SP-12, capturing the vocal style heard on early 90s Bounce tapes.
