This kit is designed to give you everything you need to easily create authentic G-Funk beats. It includes drums, drum loops, melodies, and one-shots and chops.
All drum sounds were processed through analog gear to achieve a warm, vintage character. The drum loops are inspired by classic G-Funk patterns and instantly bring a West Coast feel to your beats. Melody loops are provided as separated stems, giving you maximum flexibility when arranging. The one-shots and chops feature sounds from a wide range of instruments, including bass, guitar, synthesizers, and more.
Recreating the sound of 1990s West Coast hip-hop can be extremely difficult using software VSTs alone. For this kit, we used analog gear and vintage synthesizers to capture the most authentic sound possible. Some of the hardware used includes the Model D synthesizer, M1 synthesizer, DW8000 synthesizer, Juno-106 synthesizer, 90s Fender Stratocaster Guitar, and additional vintage equipment.

Is this compatible with my DAW or sampler?
Yes. All samples are provided in standard .WAV format, which means they’re compatible with any DAW (FL Studio, Ableton Live, Logic Pro, Pro Tools, etc.) and all major hardware samplers (MPC, SP-404, Maschine, etc.).
